Sask transfer times

So I have a noob question. I’ve never purchased a restricted until this gun. When the transfer paperwork is completed will I get an email from the CFO saying that it is completed or just from Tenda when they ship the gun?

You may get a reply from the cfo (i do but my brother's guns just show up in the mail, even though he has his email on file correctly). Tenda will email you a day or two later with the ups tracking number.

I got an email from the CFO first and later on in the day got a call from the dealer saying it was ready for pickup or shipping.

The seller I dealt with got through to the CFP the next day (June 10th) to initiate the transfer.
Extra luckily, that as the buyer, I managed to get through to them that afternoon.

The agent at the CFP said that its now on the Sask CFO's desk.

So I'm at 18 business days and counting.... anyone else taken this long ?

May 29th purchased firearm
10 days later got transfer number from business
Last week emailed sask cfo to get a reply it’s nothing to do with us
It’s New Brunswick
I emailed them back again and they said oh your
Account is under review
No phone call no email no letter from NB cfo at all
So I re submitted my range membership back to sask cfo
Nothing back again a week later, not even the sask cfo
Replied thanks

Someone is getting a phone call now

Just been on the phone with miramichi and firearms registry in Ottawa
Spoke with two very helpful ladies

In sask the issue is our CFO as they told the department doesn’t know what it is doing.

I can confirm this after emailing them again as they keep pointing the finger of blame back at miramichi.
I told both ladies I’ve re sent my range membership to the sask cfo
And both of them told me this is correct

Here is my reply off the sask cfo office this morning
The whole scenario is a complete #### fckn show

Transfers are initiated and processed in Miramichi, NB, the processing center at the Canadian Firearms Program. All applications are processed at the processing center.

There is a Saskatchewan Unit Team in Miramichi NB that do the processing. This transfer is not with the Saskatchewan Firearms Office. From what we understand transfers are now being completed for June 1, 2022.
So hopefully you will not have to wait too much longer.

Range Memberships are sent to the processing center in Miramichi NB to be loaded.

Looks like I rattled enough cages today
And my transfer just came thru

Even the transfer notice got sent to black box customs also
If anyone is wondering

Still waiting on a transfer from the 30th (business in BC), and another transfer from the Local gun store in Sk from the 31st....

Last transfer was 4-5 days in March.

They usually get the notice on the dealer and buyers end... Glad they got it sorted out. I would have cramped if the cfo told me Miramichi was the problem...

It's a blessing having these people work there, most of them are really nice! Specially with me calling on a NFLD burner first shot at 730 with a half french New brunswick, half french QC accent, with a QC address. Haha

I’m not exactly sure what the correct procedure is but while I had sask cfo answering emails I just thought it
Would be a good idea to send it to them.

When I got thru to one lady she worked in Ottawa firearms registry dept and she knew exactly
What my account said, they have access to the info plus they communicate with all depts across
The country. She was the one who emailed the sask cfo on my behalf

Her number was 1 800 731 4000 1 for English then I pressed ext 1052
She was excellent to deal with to be fair

So just reading through the ON and AB threads and the transfer times are crazy, how's SK been? usually they were quite fast about a week? Cheers
