Sask transfer times

Spoke to the CFO’s office today. Predictably, they’re swamped. Best guess was averaging 6 weeks.

The good news is such timelines are going to completely screw the re-sellers. I’m willing to be extra patient just because of that.

You're willing to screw many many others out of precious summer time fun with their newly acquired restricteds to screw over a handful of people who are posting pistols that most likely won't sell. Wow what a meany.

I’m not willing to screw anyone over; I just try to find the positive in all situations.

I’ve been called much worse by much better.

If someone decides to buy something for an inflated price they are not being screwed over... they are accepting the cost and value and getting exactly what they paid for. You have an odd way of perceiving things.

This is a name your price situation. If someone doesn't want to sell something and someone says I want it... name your price! Is the individual making an offer getting screwed? Value is in the eye of the beholder.

The way you think is dangerous and anti-freedom. Big meany.

No, I believe in community. A community that when I go to a match and my gun goes down get given parts/assistance without demand for reward, and freely do the same for others. A community who collectively work to better everyone’s performance. A place where I can relax because nobody is trying to bleed the others for all they’re worth.

Resellers aren’t part of the community, rather opportunistic leeches with no interest in the sport. I hope they eat it. They’re of course free to do what they do, and I and others are free to criticize and hope they ultimately lose.

Well at least we can agree to disagree. If your gun went down in a match I'd give you parts for free buddy <3<3 That doesn't mean I'm not going to sell something that I want to keep for an inflated price if someone out there is willing to pay to play.

If I owned gold and the market was good and I sold at an inflated price... am I taking advantage?

People don’t post WTS ads for things they want to keep.

So here's my latest response from the SK CFO? if I'm reading it right? it sounds like it's being processed @ the CFC and not in SK? Let me know what your read is? Thanks

Good Morning,

The transfers are in a back log at present. All transfers must be initiated and processed on the system through the federal program. Once the transfers are loaded on the system, the Saskatchewan Firearms Officers are trying to help with the transfers. Timeframe, we do not have a set timeframe. Currently transfers are being processed for June/July.
The federal program has given a timeframe of 2-3 months.

Thank you

Mildot, had a conversation with one of the SK CFO's, everything has to go through CFC first and then is released to provincial office. Provincial office then works there way through the stack as it is received, CFO said it is a "gong show" and they are going as fast as they can.
