As the title says can anyone tell me if it's drying out in S/W Sask. We're leaving on May 28 to do some shooting providing the gophers didn't drown out. Been waiting a year for this trip to happen again so I hope the weather improves...I don't truse the long range weather forcast on weather network it changes faster than my socks but I'm sure you folks that live in the area have a better feel for the forcast SO tell me what's it going to be like from Saturday on till the end of next week?????:D

sun is shining here this morning but it is supposed to be cloudy and rainy for the next 3 days. we have had a couple inches of rain here in the last week so it is kinda wet right now. If you are headed this way and need a place to shoot drop me a line and I should be able to help you out.

gopherxs I dropped you an e-mail we're heading to the Ponteix / Cadalic area on Friday but if it's raining we will leave Sat. arrive mid afternoon staying for the week.. If your not far away (within an hour) I'd love to meet another NUT and help them out with their gopher problems

The forecast for central Sask. is not good for the weekend(rain) and they just don't come out to play in the rain.

FYI, I was in the Ponteix/Mankota area last week and the place is bubbling with sod rats. If the weather holds for you, bring LOTS of ammo. Didnt see many around the Swift Current area, but further south was over run with the furry little varmints. Babies out now and they pose a smaller target but far more reactive..
Good luck and remember the sunscreen and hydration.

Bring a canoe... it's wet and soggy and puddles are forming with the water having no where to go. There was over 50mm this weekend... 2 inches for you other guys... and more is in the forecast. 15mm today and then it's supposed to settle in through the weekend. (Moose Jaw, Assinibioia, Regina forecast)

We've canceled the camping trip this weekend a few friends had planned.
