Saskatcehwan laws

AlbertaCoyoteCaller,
Nobody but a Saskatchewan resident can hunt coyotes in Saskatchewan. Non-resident Canadians can't hunt them, never mind non-resident aliens. On the other hand, for residents there is no closed season, no limit, no license and for a good part of the year Sunday hunting is allowed. Wolves are definitely out of the question.

I think wolves are OK in the forest fringe area if you have a trappers liscence, but I'm not too sure on that and would have to check the guide.

Not for non-residents of any stripe it isn't! A Sask. resident with a trappers license can hunt wolves outside of the fur block, but no-one else can. There are no exceptions to this.Non residents can't buy a fur license.

My bad. Of course I meant for residents only. It's the only way you can get a trappers liscence here. I should have been a little clearer.

AlbertaCoyoteCaller,
Well, there is no law against accompanying a resident and nobody flat out said anything about Leonard doing any shooting. Albert is one of the best coyote callers there is, he knows the rules.

Ya I know

Dogleg,

Your right. Nothing was said right out but ya know, I always get my buddies to carry my rifle for me and take pictures of the coyotes I shot too.

If you guys are fine with it, then so be it

AlbertaCoyoteCaller,
I dunno, I wasn't there. ;) Leonard's from California if I remember right, a snow-camo rifle could easily be Albert's.
I've been trying unsuccessfully to get someone to carry my call and rifle while pulling me around on a small sleigh. No luck so far, but that's no reason to quit trying, is it?:D Once would make all the effort worthwhile.
Albert's a member here.

I'm not sure, but a while back, the boys in Regina (sorry, not my pick:mad: ) were trying to impliment a TwoTag coyote licence for non-resident's.............anyone know the deal, if this happened or not ???
