Yea, but you will notice we wiped out all the polar bears here in Sask.
 
Who should we be writing letters to in Saskatchewan suggesting that an AR15 SPR would do wonders in terms of Gopher population control. :D

What would you do with 1000 dead rats? Thats what we do with dead gophers.

is there an infestation of gophers around calgary? i've never been gopher hunting before, i so want to try it out. please someone help me fulfill my dream

Calgary and area is full of gophers. The city itself is home to tens of thousands of the little buggers only we can't shoot inside the city.

Go anywhere ouside the city and you will find gophers begging to be shot.
 
So...anyone out in SK willing to welcome a couple of Ontario guys to come out and shoot a few gophers? We'll bring our own tents and everything, just give us a piece of land to shoot on :sniper:

That was just Jr. Daddy was twice that size when I got him.

Yeah, but polar bears are big. Anybody can hit a polar bear, just look at those guys in BC........;) Gophers are much smaller and harder top hit, as evident by the job you guys appear to be doing keeping the population in check........:p
 
Wasn't there a CGN group that went on a gopher hunt last year?

I would love to do a road trip in the August time frame and learn the ins and out of gopher hunting.

I guess you have never seen a Sask. gopher they are about 7 to 10 feet long about 4 foot high at the hip and have been known to mount a grizzly bear in mating season.:p
