Saskatchewan Deer Outfitter Recommendation

I'm looking for an outfitted deer hunt in Saskatchewan in the fall of 2010 or 2011. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I don't need a guide to hunt at home, but here's a good guy to check out. Vic runs a good camp on the forest fringe (That's where you want to be) and consistently cranks out big bucks and bears. I've stayed in his camp as a guest, and have known him through his brother for about a dozen years. There's some big deer to be had.

I agree.

I can spend that much on gas for scouting, the actual hunt itself with all the restaurant meals, munchies ect...

I meant as outfitters go, but you are right that costs of doing it yourself pile up too. $1000 a day for a 6 day week seems to be about average to guard a bait pile.
