Saskatchewan draw results are out

Antlerless moose here.

Anybody in 45E?

My son and I got skunked in 45E last year. Had a cow and then a cow and calf grazing 75yds below my hunting shack IN ZONE 30!!!
Tempting, but no.
Then this spring a couple of lowlifes from red pheasant shot the cow and calf just north of my place. Left almost everything to rot.
Reason I bought a fifty...

Lots of posted land up in the hills, start making friends with farmers now, you might have some luck.

Saskatoon Muzzleloading Zone, It's mostly acreages with city people, first thing they do is put up no trespassing signs, the wife hates hunters but buys beef at Costco, organic of course. The husband has to "talk to the wife first" if you ask permission, the only time you might get it is if the moose just ate the cat...
Been there, hunted there, if you know people with land it can work but I avoid it like the plague. Last time I got a deer with ml in SMZ the neighbour lady (cat rescue!) came onto the field As i was gutting and started screaming at me. Unpleasant as I had my 10 yr old with me and I couldn't deck her. Threw the ungutted deer in the truck and left. Good luck!

Nothing in our household, 'cept a youth skinhead mule tag for my 12 year old. Looking forward to some changes to the draw system to make it more predictable.

Skunked in 45E?

I live in 45E and we are overrun with moose. What area did you hunt?

do you know wmz 12? This would be first time for me. Is the land posted or easy to find something?

No this will be the first time for me as well. We have some friends who live close to 12 in 13 so I'm going to visit them a few times before fall to figure out the area and talk to a few people. Live in Moose Jaw so it's a bit of a drive

Smz is a tough zone. I lucked out on a 38" moose a few years ago. Lots of posted land and acreages everywhere. Make friends around pike lake.

It's a tough zone indeed but a gold mine if you know where to go or know land owners. I'm very lucky to have access to lots of land in the SWMZ...

Perdue thru the bear/eagle hills north. Saw a bit of sign, had a few calls from farmers but wasted a lot of time chasing 2week old sightings. Them moose can cover some ground when they are pushed! Saw way more in 30 driving to 45e. It was an o well, dammit, year. Saw a monster muley in the pasture n of Purdue but a little to much of a reach for my sons cz527, by the time I gave him my 308 the big bastar* was skylined and moving fast, was hoping for muley tag this year, no luck.
