The results are out on what you have been drawn for. Me and my son were only drawn for anterless muledeer.

How about other Saskatchewan hunters?

I didn't get anything I tried for. 6 years super A and still no antelope. I wish the seasons were longer or overlapped between the reg season and the draw season, because it is a waste of my time to book time off work a year in advance to find out in june that you didn't get drawn. It's ok for farmers and retired people but it is just not set up for the average working guy. I am not saying farmers don't work but when you are your own boss it is a little easier to just take a week or 2 after harvest and go hunting if you are lucky enough to get drawn.

I think they should be able to let us know by mid June it's all computerized know anyhow. Finding out in mid July that you have got drawn for Elk at the end of August is a little tough to be able to book the time off. As far as farming goes I have seen many times when harvest hasn't been done and they they miss the draw season to stay home and finish, that would be dissapointing to waste a tag that way.

I don't think they will ever figure it out. They need to go to a party tag system similar to other provinces. What's the point of the new online application system and junky tags if it takes them longer than it used to with manual entry forms?

Our group of five guys got drawn for five moose this year. What in the hell would we do with five moose? Obviously we aren't going to shoot five moose, that would be rediculous. We would be shoving moose meat under our neighbors doors at night trying to get rid of it.

They should have another pool in the draw, or allow two guys to hunt on one tag.

congrats on the tags even though 5 is quite a few. Did you all aply seperatly or together and what zone?I agree with the one tag 2 hunters when it comes to moose and elk. 1/2 an elk or mosse is lots for one person. I also think they have to either give out more mulie tags or open the season alltogethrer and thin the herd a little bit.

That seems to be the norm...
I got drawn for Elk!! First time I put in!

I hunt with two other guys and we usually split up our draws--this year we have 3 non-trophy elk tags, one moose tag and 3 non-trophy mulies.

My kid and I put in as individuals just so we both dont get drawn at the same time. He got an any ### mulie tag for 43, I didnt, but did last year. We like 43 because the whitetail season overlaps with the draw mulie, that way both of us can carry a rifle. Neither of us got a moose tag, but we were trying for 49. I know a guy who has been in super A for 49 for 12 years and still no tag. 49 is lousy with moose.

I never hunted anything except Whitetails so I signed up for 4 species/Zone 99. That should help my status when I'm ready to go. Now I just gotta figure out where to go and who to go with. :)

I got drawn for Mulie antlerless and Mulie horns right here at home in zone 25. Never got drawn for Antelope or Moose even though we are over run by the SOB`S:mad:
Not uncommon to see a moose standing in our yard, and the Antelope are everywhere, some dam nice heads too:rolleyes:
Just a couple days ago i was over at my other farm yard dingus in hand waterin the weeds and 2 moose jumped up 40 feet away from me:eek: LOL
I don`t know who was more surprised them or me LOL

well I'll be damned, I checked again today and got drawn for both my zones!!!!

Elk in 49 and a mulie in the SMZ!!! (We have a mulie we nicknamed "kong" last year, and I'm gonna get him this year!!!!!)

Last year I was Z30, 'A' pool for muleys, and this year I only got an antlerless (C pool though). Oh well. I'll probably purchase a whitetail tag. I'm thinking of applying for elk next year, if anyone has an extra spot or a buddy that canceled, let me know.
Happy shooting!

Even though I didn't get drawn for either ### mule deer I think I will buy an archery tag as I seen a nice buck with matching double drop tines a few times in the last couple of days now. He is hiding in a small bush 2 miles from my farm, I hope he stays in the same area.
