Hello,

If there are any reloaders in Saskatoon that could help me out that would be great. I was sizing 30-06 brass and I guess didnt lube enough so now have a stuck case. If anyone would be kind enough to pull the case that would be of much help to me.

If you don't have a stuck case remover simply buy a 1/4" tap and the correct drill bit and tap the base of the case. Then use a socket that fits over the case but is smaller than the die, uses a 1/4 inch bolt and washer and presto the case is out.
 
You should be able to remove the decapping pin or what ever is in the center and hammer it out.


Failing that remove the die, drill a hole in the bottom of the case and thread a bolt. Then put it back into the press and a nail claw remover should pull it out. As I recall.

The pin broke off when trying to remove it so the expander is in the case as well. A hammer doesnt even budge it and believe me i pounded it good
 
What brand of dies? The only thing left is what hunter and I said and drill and tap the bottom of the case.

It's not an earth shaking loss.
With a broken pin and the expander in the case, you may not be able to get it out.
Get a new sizing die and learn how to properly lubricate cases.
 
RCBS makes a stuck case remover, not sure if it would work in your situation or not. I think I saw some at WSS when I was there last week.
 
I put lots of penetrating oil around the base of the case and set it aside for 2 days. After that I dropped a punch into the case and about 10 minutes of hammering, it came out.
 
Just buy or rig up your own stuck case remover with the methods explained above.No need to buy another die unless you have totally screwed it up trying to remove the stack case by other methods !! THEN ALWAYS use some lube !!!! Check out U Tube, prob lots of vids on stuck case removal on there !
