saskatoon trapper education course

Does anybody have info if there are any trapper education courses in or around saskatoon? I don't want to just challenge the exam. I would actually like to learn it from somebody with experience. The SWF website doesn't mention anything about it.

I am a SK hunter education instructor, but have no knowledge of the trapper course. I have never heard of anyone giving the course, as far as i know it is home study and challenge the exam. I'd like to find out more too.
Just for the record, Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation does not have anything to do with the Sask Hunter Ed course, it is administered by a volunteer based organization called SAFE - the Sask Association of Firearms Educators.

You can call the Sask. trappers ass. (306) 236 5944 they should be able to help, or call Ministry of Envirionment (306)933 5767.

Well, there is info in post #6. Thank you dead meat. I knew there was a trappers' organisation and thought I must have seen something about education at their stand at the SWF annual outdoors show.

There's a name and address here of the guy who runs the courses, maybe if you have enough names he'd set up a class in town.
