I can say is wow, you guys are having fun...
My pair of old 3 screw rugers are down in the safe saying ye haaa.

How often do you shoot matches?

Do folks get together for fun practice shooting at the SASS range between matches?

How many regular shooters?

Hi there Ruger22
We are pretty fortunate. Our range is dedicated Cowboy Action range 7 days a week. Our monthly matches are the third Saturday & we shoot year round. Just had a shoot today. 24 shooters out.
Our range is always "under construction" We are now finishing the General Store (that's a functional building as is the Longhorn Saloon).

guest shooters???

I would like to re visit the comox area this summer.
The wife and I are scouting around for a location to retire in about 4 years.

If any guys would like to share some opinions on moving to and or retirement in the area please do.
PM or phone call, my dime.:)

How are you guys about guest shooters at one of your matches?

The Comox Valley area is a widely known retirement area. Fishing, hunting, skiing, golfing just minutes away & all on the same day if you like. Winters are mild but wet. We shoot year round at our range. The main range has a large archery course, trap & skeet, 100 yd. range, pistol range & indoor range.
We also have a private camp ground, boat launch & we are now building a black powder trail. Check out http://courtenayfishandgame.org/.
Guests are always welcome.
If you get out this way give me a shout & I'll give you a tour of the club.
Our monthly shoots are the 3rd Saturday.
You can reach me at 250-334-3479 eves & 250-897-3643 Monday to Friday days, other than that I'll be at the range!!!:dancingbanana:
