Thinking of a Satin Nickel or Stainless CZ-75b. Nickel is about two hundred or so cheaper. Someone told me the nickel "stains" and changes colour from your sweat after a while. Is this BS/true/possibly true? What do you guys think?

My Satin Nickel does turn into a little yellowish and a lttle golden alike after two year. But I don't think it was from my sweat because it was evenly on the whole gun, not just a spot. I actually think it looks nice. The finsh is very very hard and I haven't made a single scratch on it.

Stainless is for all intents and purposes "maintenance free" - Nickel is not.
If I had to choose between the two - Stainless for sure!

Had satin nickel finish on a revolver once. Harder to clean than stainless after a day of shooting, thats for sure! Use to use a toothbrush, but the wife got a bad taste in her mouth. Wasn't good...
