Satin stainless touch up

Bought another stainless rifle. This is different though. There is no texture like it was blasted etc. Looks like it was chemically dulled . It has picked up a couple shiny spots. What chemical will bring that satin look back to those spots? Thanks folks

That will bring a different shade to the surface.

Call the maker and tell them your situation, maybe they'll shine some light on how to do touch up's.

Scotch Brite, but you will have to do the whole thing, that way from then on touch ups are no problem. Try it in a spot you usually don't see first to see if you like it or not

Scotch "BRITE" is just that. It's not scotch "DULL" or scotch "SATIN". I'm afraid that stuff will not give matt

We use it on stainless and aluminum all the time, it gives a nice satin finish
