Saturday's Small Game Hunting Carnage!!! Lots of pics!

Hey Guys/Gals;

Well, "we" hit the woods and beaver pond pretty hard on Saturday...

Am--> I couldn't get the guys, Chris and Andrew, out for a duck hunt, they drank TOO MUCH BEER... Man was I pissed! I even used the 1 million candlepower light on them and nothing worked!!! So I waited till 8 am and then dragged them out all day for small game... Loved watching them suffer... ha ha ha :lol: I did ALL of the shooting as they were HURTING... 5 woodcock, 1 rabbit, NO GROUSE!!! They seem to be few and far between here in N.B.!!! My old dog Bamma is showing her age, but worked/hunted like a champ!!!

Afternoon--> NAP time for Chris and Andrew!!! What a couple of "lightweights"... ha ha ha...

PM--> Beaver pond duck hunt with Ian! We got 4 ducks and didn't limit, but the spot is awesome for getting them in close. Just a couple of decoys and a minimum of effort for some quick and exciting action!!!

GILLY, Woodcock are a dark meat bird. I usually wrap the little monsters with a slice of bacon and either pan fry or roast in the oven till done... They certainly are not my fav game meat, but the dog loves to hunt them and they are a hoot to shoot!!!
