I do the same, well opposite. I shoot long arms right handed and handguns left. I'm left handed and left eye dominate. Trust me, I have tried switching my long arms to the left side two but it just doesn't work for me. I'm not saying I'm right, just that is what I do.

usually that is so he can cover the opposite arc of fire from the guy ahead of him. Cant have everyone looking left and an attack come from the right, can we?

Yes Sergeant (4 chevrons facing up ie Staff Sergeant in old Colonial military ranks) looks like he has an Acog. Along with the grenade launcher. Glad to see the grenade launcher doesn't look to be on backwards.

There is no way that that is a picture of real Saudi SF. Maybe an airsoft group? - they like to call themselves all sorts of cool sounding names. These guys can't decide which side their rank goes on, or which way the scope points ?- No way a country with security issues like Saudi has incompetent 1st line guys. Just noticed that this particular photo was submitted seperately from the main body of the article, someone's pulling a leg. Still, I'd have thought the Saudis would rather do CECAP than regular French SF cross-training. Much more macho.
