They are very nice rifles and I prefer them to any factory built NA rifle. They have an interchangeable barrel system, and the barrels are cold hammer forged from Krupp steel. I *think* they all have set triggers, which is another feature I really like.
The action has 6 locking luggs and unlike the Sauer 80 and 90 the lugs are at the front of the bolt. The action lifts 60 degrees and is smooth.
You can't really modify them like you can with a model 700 Remington or 70 Winchester, but that doesn't bother me at all. They are accurate, smooth and have an awesome trigger right out of the box. I can't believe that those rifles haven't sold at P&D, because at those prices they are a steal, imo.
A fellow could have one barrel in .25-06 or .270 and another in 9.3x62 - that would be an excellent set-up for all your big game hunting needs.
The rifles are modular, so you can change a variety of features to suite your needs/taste:
4 fore-ends
5 butt stocks
2 stock materials
9 wood grades
8 bolts
3 triggers
2 receivers
13 barrel versions
3 sights
22 calibres
