I'm not up on the value of a Sauer 90 but I believe them to be of superb quality and a tad pricier than the average rifle
Several years ago I looked over a 375 Sauer, unsure of the model but it had a couple cracks in the wood, one in the tang and another in front of the receiver so perhaps you might want to examine it very carefully.
How well does it fit you ?

one to compare with

if i remember well the magazines are hard to get. but very good mechanic for sure.

Beautiful rifle and the one guy I know with a Sauer 90 (actually I believe it is a Colt Sauer - which is the same thing) treasures his. But as Kevan says make sure that the stock is sound because I think if you had to source a new stock (IF you can find one) it would make the the $1450 much less of a bargain .... I have read (dont know first hand) that the rear locking cam arrangement can allow for brass stretching ... but this is hardly a worry in a .375H&H as most folks wont be firing enough to make reloading a huge issue.....even if the stretching is a real issue...or an internet myth

It is great gun and i like them much more than new models. Think it is good deal and unless gun is not really damaged, you cant go wrong with that gun and price

I couldn't resist to buy it, came with a nice leather sling, one box of 375 HH, EAW scope mounts, and it's not a standard sauer 90 it is an elegance finish version, no cracks in the stock it as only fired a box and it is one of the last 90's made by sauer.

Sauer 90 aka Colt Sauer has one weak part that I know of.
Once the bolt is dropped on some hard surface the ring just in front of bolt handle that actuates the three locking lugs is prone to breaking due to I guess being to hard, thin and fragile . It can't be fixed.
I replaced two of them already and Sauer factory is not willing to sell any parts. They are hard to get (US mostly) and quite expensive.

I have a few sets of EAW ring/mounts and they are excellent in my opinion. But that is a very graceful rifle and might also look great with Conetrol.....afaik Conetrol top line rings/bases also have the capability to remove and return the scope while retaining "zero"....it is not an elegant solution to quick scope removal like the EAW... but apparently workable and the top Conetrol mounts are beautiful!
