savage 10 FCP-K

Its The best grouping 308 in my safe. and soon it will have a MDT LSS chassi to make it perfect.

The only bad thing about it is the tupperware accustock and the P.O.S accu trigger.

I think mine is working out ok. Accustock is gone, but it still has the "P.O.S accu trigger"? 5@100 in there.

What stock is that, Shinin?

Very nice group! That is with the stock barrel? Ya, gotta say I like the trigger on my model 12. Though, I also really, really like the rifle basix sear I put in my Mark II.

Bought my son one with a McMillian stock and it is amazingly accurate. A week ago I shot a .681 3 shot group at 300 yards. The scope was a Redfield 2X7 hunting scope and really not a decent scope for the rifle. He is going to put a very good scope on it and I await seeing what it will do then.

I was shooting 168gr Nosler Custom Match Grade and they are very accurate. 2706 to 2731 FPS on the chrony.

This gun also likes 155gr Sierra Palma's loaded with 41.5 gr of Benchmark. 2684 to 2712 FPS.

Thanks. Yes stock barrel, it's an IXL carbon chassis.

My only gripe is mine is finicky at round extraction. It is definitely not a "life or death" kind of rifle an LEO should seriously consider. A single extraction claw is mainly to blame, and the only way to fix that is to buy Ruger, Tikka, Remington, etc. :)

Which Remington are you referring to? The 700 only has one extractor.

I like the accu-trigger on my model 12. Light and crisp. Never tried an aftermarket yet but I have used many other factory rifles and their trigger aren't as nice as the accu-trigger. Browning has a nice trigger on their x-bolt.
