Savage 10-FCPK .308 ( MDT LSS Chassis system build )

Wont be able to go back up there until spring time... Might have to send in my Savage for and upgrade while I wait for the snow to melt....
 
Well back at the range today with Steamwhistle

Steamwhistle shot better groups with my 10-FCPK then me... And I shoot a good group with his 700

my 3 scopes did not come with flips either.
NightForce ZS@$2500 without scope
Leupold @$1200 also without flip
Huskemaw ZS@1800 without flip
but nightforce did come with one sunshade haha

Tasco scopes from walmart came with flips........ maybe i should just buy those...
 
Oh my god I need that rifle. Ive been putting it off fr a whole now as I have a wife and bank account that Hates me. But after watching that video it looks like I'm going to be going bankrupt and divorced lol. Nice setup, nice shooting, nice review but you have ruined my marriage hahaha!! Thanks for the nudge to get this gun though haha. Where can you get them?
 
One thing we did notice is my barrel cooled faster then the 700.... I dont know if this is because mine is fluted.

Was a great day overall... 2 more weeks and Im back in the woods shooting my plate at 500... hopefully this time I hit it...

Hey Dilligaf, I have a question you might be able to answer for me...
I am planning to purchase a savage 308 as my first firearm but I am not sure about one thing.
What's the big difference in-between those 2 guns:

Savage 11 FNCS
Rate of Twist: 10
Weight: 6.9 lbs
Overall Length: 41.75"
Barrel Length: 22"
Ammo Capacity: 4
MSRP: $696.00

Savage 10 FCP-K
Rate of Twist:10
Weight:8.9 lbs
Overall Length:46.5"
Barrel Length:24"
Ammo Capacity:4
MSRP:$947.00

All I see is 2" longer barrel and a muzzle break, is that why it has added weight and 300$ higher MSRP?

Finally do you know if the Model 10 precision carbine is discontinued in 308, because on Savage website they don't say any infos on this one, wich is about the same price as the others and looks about the same as them..?

Savage model 10 precision is being sold at wholesale sports in Calgary. One on the shelf. I have one, and it's amazing. I'd pick this or the FCp-k. That's my next project. Also it's a hard gun to find (carbine) but there out there. I'd be willing to sell myn if your interested. Has had about 200 rounds through it and shoots a dream. I'm wanting the FCP-K now.i like the brake.
