Savage 10 tr rings

Looking for help on ring height for my savage 10 tr with picitanny rail. I am mounting a 1 inch scope with 44 mm ocular. Can I get away with medium height or need the high. Thanks

I have low leupold rings with a 50mm obj. Perfect scope height.

I use low Millett rings on my railed FCP-K with a 40mm scope and there's room for a 44 for sure.

Too many people go too high and get a "Fuddish" chin weld.

Good to know, just bought some low weavers that are for a 38mm and the scope is 40mm. I figure with the rail the scope will fit no problem but ill keep you all posted.

I have a vortex 6 - 24 x 50 on mine with low rings....works fine.
