All features that negate all the goodness of savage mix and match fun. Very little aftermarket directly supporting this action.
Stock is not bad for a hunting stock and should use "small" scope. Adj comb like the Tacpro or karsten will need to be added if you go big target scope and tall rings. See Savage other rifles like the LR hunter for what you will end up needing to fix.
give me a Savage package rifle and swap in good parts that will give you superb performance.

Hey Jerry, your right about needing that adj comb for the stock, that Sightron I'm buying from you is going on my 10 TR. As for the lack of aftermarket options I may have to wait a bit but they'll probably come if there is the demmand. Planning on putting on the glass and a comb and then going to see how she shoots.

Looking forward this year, there is little interest to support the accutstock family of Savage SA's. Savage deliberately changed it so that it would be a stand alone platform. Less customer mucking about. The goal is for you to buy what you want from Savage, not the aftermarket.
You can make them work with some parts but alot of DBM's will not work.
It is more headache then it is worth given the premium you pay for stuff that only causes grief if you want to play.
As a standalone rifle, it will work but working on it will be more expensive.
YMMV.

So got the rifle out today, had a perfect day and a perfect spot. Got the targets up and set up in no time. Sat and drank a bottle of water as I admired the perfect setting I was in. A freshly cut non working farm field.
Decided to get right down to business, put two rounds downrange at 52 yards. To get the rifle at least hiting the target. Then moved back to 100 yards. Which by the way seems much further than it sounds for a total beginner. lol Well until I dropped behind the scope than it was all nice and close.
By my 6th shot I was practically ecstatic. Using cheap MFS ammo I had a pair touching. Two more and all could hide under a quarter, almost. So I switch my aim to a fresh target and begin my first of what was going to be five, three shot groups.
First group went down at .626" I think wow...Beginners luck.
Second group goes down at .639" I look around for who is actually shooting my target, and notice Im all alone. Must be the gun. lol
Third group goes down at 1.338" WTF????
Fourth group... does my micrometer open that big???
In my haste to get the gun setup I forgot to use loc-tight on the scope rings, only made worse when I realized I had negleted to toss the allenwrench set into the range box... I'm an idiot!
I would post pictures but due to a small incident of steam ventilation which involved 80 rounds from the SKS there wasn't much left to see.. I have since brought it home remounted (with loc-tight) the scope and will be trying to go back out friday to do it all again weather permitting.
All in all I was very happy with the rifles performance specially considering I was only shooting cheap MFS ammo. Everything seemed to work very well for me and I'm sure this rifle will be capable of much more than me for quite some time.
On a side note my Chinese SKS put down a 5"'ish group with irons at the same distance and is easilty the most fun you can have firearms related for under $200...lol
