Partial neck sized a few brass tight enough to hold the bullet but not so tight that I couldn't pull them out afterward by hand. Left the bullet sticking out pretty far then chambered a few rounds.

First tried the Hornady Match 168gr BTHP bullets and measured OAL at approximately 2.815 tip and 2.210 ogive.

Did the same for the Hornady 165gr SSTs and measured 2.807 tip and 2.189 ogive.

This is my first time trying this so I wanted to double check that these measurements sound reasonable?

My plan was to seat this next batch at .005 off the lands so that would be 2.810 for the 168s and 2.802 for the 165s.

Is that all there is to it or am I totally missing something?
