Savage 11 extended bolt handle and scope options ??

Hey fellas.

Any one in Canada offer extended or over sized bolt handles / knobs for the savage 11?

Also what scope and or base are you guys using? I seen some guys saying that the viper diamondback is decent for the price. Id like to stay in the 200$ range and wont be shooting further then 200 yards.

There are some aftermarket bolt handles, mystic precision may have some, for that budget on a scope ($200) your looking at maybe a vortex crossfire or a Redfield. What caliber and is this a target/varmint or hunting rig?
 
I need to find a new bolt hand for a savage short action 10, got a awesome knob on the way from the states, and need one that is threaded, or that I can get cut down and threaded, without buggering up the original one lol
 
I just ground the handle down with my angle grinder and finished with a file to 5/16 IIRC and then threaded it with a die. I've done 2 now and it is really quite a simple operation. I did get a couple of scuffs up the bolt handle which I had to smooth out but as I am refinishing the actions anyways it really didn't hurt anything. Top one is an AVG? from Mystic Precision on here and the bottom is from Bolt Knobs by Bill.
