Hi All,

I'm looking seriously at the Savage 11LRPH in 260Rem and can't find much not to like (other than the 22" tube + break). Is there a reason I shouldn't buy this.

Applications include.
Target Shooting out to 600 meters
Coyote hunting
Deer hunting
Caliber must be under .275"

I am already set up to reload 260Rem with Dies, Projectiles and brass. But I've always bought Tikka or Remington and I'm little gun shy. The only reason I'm considering it is that I own a Savage MarkII BVS that's damn accurate out to 200 meters and a pleasure to shoot.

Anyhow thanks in advance for your help,
Craig

So far the only reason is not being able to find one in a caliber I want and at 11 pounds it becomes a bench gun pretty much exclusively.

Looks really interesting. No brake, same twist, same barrel length, same overall weight and less $$$$.
now to find one.

thanks!
