savage 110 ejector stuck

I had a case blow the primer a while back,no gas in then face thank goodness.I noticed now that the ejector is stuck inside the bolt face about a n eighth of an inch or so below flush.I took out the retaining pin and tried rapping the bolt and tried a few solvents but it will not some loose.Any suggestions?Makes me appreciate my crf feed rifles with their fixed ejectors.Rifle still works but a pain to remove each shell by hand.

I have seen this happen on several rifles, not only Savages.

The last one I had in the shop, I had to drill out the ejector. This one seemed a bit soft, and the drill went in readily. The ejectors cost about $5.00, and a new spring the same amount.

If you do not have the equipment, take it to a gunsmith.

Try a handheld needle type engraver, the vibrations often do the trick. Disassemble the bolt to remove the head and check for a split hole. At a minimum, replace the spring.
