I owned one for a very short time ( one day before selling it to a good buddy) anyway I put about 5 rounds downrange with it.

I am wanting another one. My bud says it isnt a very accurate rifle. But I have seen him shoot before not the best long range guy.
Now how many of you have them and are you happy with them. heard a few complaint's about poor accuracy on the interweb.

Why did you sell it. If your bud lives close ask to try it and see if you like it without spending your money. I now own two of them the newest one I haven't had out yet. Goodluck

I own one. In 300WM though. Its a solid sub MOA gun.

Its a good gun for getting into long range shooting.

No he lives a long ways away from me now or I would have "borrowed" it many times already.

What do you think of the older one you have.

Mine isn't all that old. I have about 400 rounds down the tube.

So far its been great. With the weight of the rifle and the muzzle brake I am able to spot my own hits as close as 300 yards.

Well, firstly it is a relatively inexpensive way to try out the .338 Lapua cartridge so that's a plus. Generally, Savage makes pretty accurate rifles and they are easier than some to rebarrel down the road so that's another two plusses. Mine is - now that I have played with it and worked on some good loads - a very solid 3/4 min rifle which seems to be a bit better than average which, again, I put down to load tuning. I found that it (ie my particular rifle ) has a strong preference for the 300g SMK over the 250 grainers but individual rifles may well vary in this respect.

I really have been impressed with my 110BA in 300 Win Mag.
It shoots quite well! I have had it to a mile (1760 yards) a bunch of times. For the price range, one of the best deals I have had.

I have one in 300 Win mag. love it! great gun for the money! I am selling it now thou. bought a HS HTR. But i know I'm going to regret it later. With the load i was using i got a 2" group at 800 yr. don't know if i could ever do it again thou. lol
