In the ad it says they may have been made for importation into Europe as they're a non-catalogued item. I can see why the Europeans rejected them.

That and they're not big on funky blaze camo,pink camo,etc. like the North Americans

IIRC Blaser, Mauser and Sauer produce orange stocks. Tikka Sport has an orange laminate stock

Correct, but not solid orange, just the grip panels.

I actually like that coating....'course thats the Ontario Fudd coming out in me
