Savage 12 BTCSS thumbhole (where to find)

Any ideas where one can actually find one..

I've checked in all the usual spots and either they are very popular and sold out or we don't get enough of them in Canada.

Comments and tips on this rifle are welcomed as this will be my first 223, for paper at 100-300

My course of action would be to by a pastic stock version and then contact boyds for a thumbhole stock of choice. My 2c.

The Savage has special bedding built in, so kind of a waste.. if it was dirt cheap I'd say sure.
