I'm a handgun nut but recently got a CZ452 in 22Lr
and an having a ball shooting it.
I'd like to get a centrefire for the range(100 yds)
to shoot off the bench.
No competition...just punching paper.
The Savage low profile with laminate stock has caught my attention.
All the feedback sounds good on it.
I think I would like the single shot version.
I've checked some of our dealers online, but don,t see any in stock.
I've also seen the Long Range Precision Varminter, but it's a lot more money
and I'm a lefty.
I shoot right handed rifles, but the Precision has the port on the left side.
In my mind, that would be a problem loading it.
I've got a feeling I should get the LP and with the money I save,I could get a decent scope.
Give me some advice, brothers and sisters

Lef T I live in Peterborough and if you would like to try the LRPV in 22-250 left port you are welcome to come out and see for your self. I like the left port and I am right handed. It is a heavy rifle but I think you would like the HS stock.
Let me know when and I will tell you where.
