They usually will make it good and good for the shop to get on the horn and take care of the problem. Very poor quality hopefully the new one is better for you.
Looks like it was made by Norinco and not Savage. That doesn't need repair, it needs to be cut in half and replaced by Savage. I really like my Euro Classic 114, it's well finished. Think the manufacturer will look after for you.
