Anybody have any experience with these two? I'm looking at picking up another varmint rifle. I like the 16 stainless but everywhere is sold out. Would be good for coyotes as its really light. Model 10 is heavier barrel and would be better for gophers but not stainless and heavier. Anybody have any experience with these two and could help me decide?

Cheers.

I have a model 16 in .308 as my deer rifle. I have used it the past three seasons without any hiccups. Shoots good with cheapo winchester and federal, shoots great with nosler accubonds. The only con i have had so far is it doesn't shoot remington ammo very well, i get about double the sized group with the rem as the winchester/federal

I have the 10 in .223 and it is wicked heavy, very barrel heavy. It is a great shooter and it likes cheap ammo. I have taken the heads off the tacks at will at 100 yds. No problems with it although sometimes it is a bit finnicky about picking a shell up off the mag if I do it slow. If I load it like I hate it- no problems!

I too can't seem to get Rem ammo to group with this or seemingly any other rifle I own??

I have a Predator Max1 in 243. It is one heck of an accurate rifle. I have no issues with the magazine. I think one can load four in it, but I load three, as the first one was a bit sticky. With 3 in the mag, I have never, ever had a fail to feed or any issues. Superb rifle.

Not a varmint but I have one a small production made for Canada model 10 predators in 30-06 and I love it! It's not light but it shoots very well and loves everything I put in it.

Have a Predator Max1 in 22-250 & a straight Predator 10 in .243win. Both are super accurate from out of the box with factory loads. Yes they're heavy with their medium/bull barrels. No FTF/FTE or magazine issues from either.
