Hi guys. I recently rebuilt a 1902 Savage 1899C. Rebuild went well, it works slick, groups tightly and is now a nice rifle, but my eyes are getting bad. I either have to scope it or possibly drop a peep sight on it. The question is will a peep sight remove some of the effects of the ageing eyes or am I hooped and have to scope it?
The rifle is not D&T'd, but it is also not a collector as the barrel has been cut.
It's a 30-30 so I expect to shoot at max 150 yds and probably mainly under 100.
