hi i here the savage 22 is made in colbourg ontario is this true if it is i want one love to buy canadian made anyone know the accuracy of the savage 22 targe thnks for the info harry

I think most if not all Savage Rimfires are made in Lakefield Ont.

The new rimfire bolt actions with the acutrigger are the best bargain in the rimfire market! (Best with the laminated stock)

They're great rifles, and wicked accurate. Although, they just don't feel like 'quality' high end gear, something about them just feels 'cheap' somehow. Doesn't really matter, they work well, they're accurate and the feel good.

Still, I think I prefer the Ruger 77/22 (but it IS twice the price)
