I picked one of these up and I've read articles where they were accurate out to 200 yards. I have taken deer out to 200 yards with a 20 gauge (Remington Core Lokt Ultra Slugs) however going with the 1000 ftlb min. rule that should be about it. So if the gun is accurate beyond that what is the best way to test the ammo to make sure it will take a deer clean. I was thinking of two pieces of 1/2" plywood and 6" of wet paper. If the slugs blows through that then it should be ok. Thoughts? I really don't want to make the ballistic gell if I can avoid it.
