Hi:
Probally a full choke and like any 28ga not real common. From what info I have savage made the model 220 from 1938 to 1972. The 28ga 1st showed for sale in 1953 at a big cost of $24.95 each and last showed in 1960 at a price of $33.50
Most model 220's sell between $75-$125 but the 28ga will bring 250-300 plus assuming it is an original.
Many that come up and I might be wrong here have been converted into 28ga with model 94?? barrels on them. Those are $100.00 guns
I have quite a few different 28 gauges and have an original 220 28ga somewhere in the pile. Might have seen 4 originals in 40 years.
Enjoy the gun. They are shooters and I think the novelty of the 28ga is what gives them a high resale.
Here is one with the original barrel
