Anyone else have a Savage 2400, mine is in 12ga/308cal, made in Finland by valmet. Mine is also unique in that it has a european hog back stock with a rounded pistol grip and no buttplate.All the other Savage 2400s I have seen don t have this style of stock which makes me wonder if it was something only available in Europe or a early prototype stock.The buttstock and forearm match and the checking pattern is exactly the same as the other factory model.Fit and finish are excellent.I actually like this stock compared to the regular one as it has the European feel to it which is appropriate as combo guns are more of a european style of a gun.
