savage 311 sxs help

I have a 311 12 fullxmod. Choke, one of the firing pins wasn't working. I got the thing disassembled without much trouble, but getting the hammers back in is proving to to be a challenge. I can't seem to get the springs under enough tension to get the pin back in. Any suggestions?
