my savage 340 in 222 rem hates winchester ammo will load and extract an unshot cartage just fine but after the winchester is shot the extractor with not spit it out of the gun, any other brands of ammo work just fine. Any ideas??

They are famous for bad extraction. The Winchesters could be fairly hot from the factory as compared to the others. Make sure your chamber is good and clean and make sure to clean the extractor so there is no crud under the spring and it can clip onto the rim as far as posible
