Hey, after searching but having no luck, does anyone know if they make a compensator/brake for a savage 64? i have the stainless steel version. Mostly just want one for looks but im sure it would help a bit for balance.

If you measure the barrel you might be able to find a slip on one from another rimfire rifle.

Or finding an adapter to allow to install a brake. By time you find those parts and the cost. Might as well, just sell your non threaded model and pick up one with a muzzle brake.

I agree. Not worth the cost to thread a savage 64. If you must have a muzzle break sell it and buy something already threaded. Or just buy a second gun...
