Savage 64 Broken trigger

Good to see it was taken care of by Savage. It would have been relatively straightforward to replace yourself otherwise. The bolts on my MKII are hex heads I can't understand for the life of me why anything other than decorative finish screws are still being made slotted. We have a better way!
 
I will look into upgrading the trigger and thank you for the info. I will need a better flat head screw driver for sure .
And it DID also come with a chamber flag , but I didn't think it was worth mentioning.
