Savage 64F help

Hello,

I have a savage 64F take down, I bought it brand new. May have put around 250 rounds through it and no longer ejects properly. Will fire once and jam. I have done thorough cleans and oiling on it and makes no difference.

Has anyone on here had the same issue or know how to fix it?
 
Mine ran perfectly one day and like yours the next, with ammo from the same brick. I love my Savage bolts but I couldn’t get rid of the takedown fast enough. Clean or dirty didn’t seem to affect the results from day to day.
 
they modified the takedown. the ejector mounts thru the side of the receiver instead of inserting in the barrel on the regular unit. On the takedown a little screw holds it in place. These are coming loose and falling out. I had to order a new one from savage under warranty...funny they sent me 6.
