I have been looking around , and haven't seen one of these for quite a while . Anybody still have /hunt with one of these? I have a couple auto-5s , and a 1938 , Remington model 11. The model 11 still works like a new gun. These were just a great design , and I bet the savage was the same. I know the remingtons and the savage don't command the same price as the Browning's do , they are a little dressed down , and a lower grade as far as finish goes. But still very solid , dependable guns . Where are they all hiding? I see them on the American gun sites, but none up here in the great white north. .... P.S. old guns are a sickness , and I may need medication.
