Info found ... Boyds stocks come with instructions on how to make them fit
---------------------
Hey all,
Firstly I apologize if this is a repost, but my search didn't come up with anything.
I have an older molder Savage 93 in .22WMR with a heavy barrel. I still have it in the original synthetic stock that came with it and wish to put it in a new one. I was looking at the Boyds Tacticool line of stocks and noticed that they only come for the Savage 93-E. Thanks to another post on here, I realized that there are differences between the old and newer versions, I need to know what that means for me if I go and buy one of these stocks.
Will I have problems getting it to fit (inletting, action screw locations)?
Has anyone else run into any problems with the newer stocks and older Savages?
