I have a 93BVSS in 22 mag and for me I can get groupings of 1 1/2" at 100 yards using Hornady 30 grain which seems to work the best out of the half dozen or so rounds that we tried. I can't really tell you if the gun is accurate or not because maybe I am just a bad shot. I can tell you that bedding the stock will make a big difference in the variance between ammo. What I mean by that is that before, all of the different ammo types would group in different areas and groups were anywhere from 2-3 inches. Once bedded the groups shrunk down to about 1 1/2 to 2 inches, are a little closer to the centre and the CCI's now shoot as good as the Hornady's. Watch for the front post pulling the barrel down as you tighten it (tighten the rear post first). I used a washer under the front post along with bedding to raise the barrel and give it more support. I also bedded the recoul lug at the very back but you have to watch otherwise you'll bed both front and back and never get the reciever out so only bed under the front lug, not in front of it. You should also bed under the magazine plate where the front bolt penetrates. There is no support under there and the plate flexes like mad. I also worked the accu-trigger in and out in order to loosen it a bit and the trigger is now very light....my guess is well under 2 pounds. I really like the rifle and I like to tinker so don't think that it is not a good gun as is. People say that the 17 is more accurate than the 22 mag but I have seen lots of studies that say otherwise. The action is stiff at first and it an fail to feed but be patient. 10 shot stainless clips are 45 bucks in Wingham.
