I've tried mounting the scope a few times and I'm sure I've done everything right but it appears the scope is sticking way off to the left. It's a brand new 93R17 left hand version. I swear the bases must have been put on cooked at the factory. Anyone else have this problem?

I've never had the issue, but have heard about Savages with that problem. I'd contact Savage about it. Depending on where you are in SW Ontario, Grech Outdoors in Mount Forest is a (the?) Savage warranty shop in Ontario. Very knowledgeable guy too.
