I have a 1956 99f rifle missing the stock bolt that hold butt stock to receiver. A Savage guy told me the 99f properly would have an aluminum bolt being a featherweight. Ideally what I'm looking for but invisible in use so no big deal. Anyone have one kicking around they'd part with? Will try Western Gun Parts tomorrow but thought someone here might have one.

If you live somewhere with a decent bolt/fastener shop, you can likely just buy one similar enough to work. - dan
Yup. Bolt is around 5 inches in length 5/16- 22 tpi, complete orphan by design, proprietary thread. Probably just get a 6 inch 5/16 bolt cut it off and cut 22 pitch thread in lathe.
