Savage 99 scope mounting

Gentlemen,

I recently picked up a beautiful Savage 99 in 300 Savage.
Serial # is 396,000 which would put year of manufacture around 1940.

Its been drilled and tapped in a way that I have never seen before.

I know that there is a vast amount of knowledge out there, any suggestions on how to get some glass mounted on this old girl?
