Savage A22 - left hand shooter

Good day... anyone have experience firing the Savage A22 (right handed rifle) left handed? I’m curious to know if the action throws anything back in your face? Fellow lefty’s will know what I’m talking about!

And no, I’m not interested in shooting right handed

Yes, my A17 does the same. Other than that I do like the rifle.

I shoot an a22 left handed and no problems yet with anything in the face but only 100 rounds down the pipe so far

Don't have that particular rifle(yet)but I shoot semi autos left handed all the time without any issues.

Once upon a time I had a 10/22 double feed. The 2nd bullet fed just enough that it slightly crimped the rim of the first casing. When I went to clear it, the feont casing blew out backwards. I had small metal shards and half burning powder stuck in my face and hands. I also lost most of my eyebrows. Would I have not had ear and eye protection on, I provably would be blind right now..... Always wear your ppe, especially as a lefty shooting RH semi autos.... I have since sold all my RH semi autos of any kind and now only shoot LH bolts and LH semi autos and the odd lever.....
