Savage A22 Spring Pins For Bolt

Hi, if you have a Savage A22 and have the misfortune of the spring pin that holds the firing pin in place break. The replacement pin is 2mm. diameter by 14mm. long. If you have trouble finding a replacement pin , PM me.

I just had this break on mine. I had Savage send me out 3 or 4 of them no charge. A quick easy fix but was annoying waiting for sure. I did not see anyone else have the same problem so I figured it was a one off. Maybe it is a more common occurrence than I thought

No it seems to be a problem, I was on a Rimfire Central forum and there were people encountering the same problem. Luckly my 1 son is a machinist and got me stainless pins that are stronger than what Savage is using.
