Well be that as it may, at least the Marlin has a bolt shroud which makes it look sooooo much better......besides the Marlin is just a donor for experimental purposes...........When I build my family to keep they will all be on 700 actions.......

Remmy 700's, Model 721's, 600/660's & Model 7's are all nifty actions to adapt to the Brewer system of
locknut barrel fitting. Any decent metalworker can blend them in to look good. Not having to go through
the extra BS of headspacing work required on regular, screwed in tight systems is an effective, cost saving
and accurate way to do it.
